Cold Laser Therapy

Pain Management

Our state-of-the-art Cold Laser Therapy, also known as Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is an advanced and highly effective non-invasive treatment method that is cleared by the FDA.

Cold Laser Therapy is a natural and drug-free solution to pain. It also has proven success rates similar to the traditional treatment methods, without the risks, complications and the lengthy recovery time.

Cold Laser Therapy has been safely used since 1967 when Professor Andre Mester began using low powered lasers in medicine. He is often recognized as the grandfather of Cold Laser Therapy.

Cold Laser treatments last between 7 and 21 minutes, depending on the condition being treated. Cold Laser Therapy treatments are administered directly to the skin, as laser light does not fully penetrate through layers of clothing. You will feel a soothing warmth as the therapy is administered. Patients generally see results after 3 to 5 treatments. We will develop a treatment plan that is optimal for your condition.

We  use  advanced FDA cleared lasers that have been clinically proven to treat:

  • Arthritis
  • Bell's Palsy
  • Bunions
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Cell Growth
  • Chronic Pain
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Ganglion Cyst/ Skin tags
  • Headaches
  • Heel Spurs
  • Immune System Support
  • Inflammation
  • Knee Pains
  • Leg cramps, restless leg syndrome

Some of the biological benefits of lower level laser therapy are anti-inflammatory, edema reduction, reduced fibrous tissue formation, increases tissue activity, stimulated cell growth and cell regeneration.

During each painless procedure, laser energy increases your blood circulation, drawing oxygen, water and nutrients to your injured area. This achieves an optimal healing environment that decreases inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness and pain. As your injured area returns to normal, function is restored and pain is alleviated.

When low-level light waves penetrate the skin, they stimulate mitochondria to increase their absorption of oxygen. This stimulates the mitochondria to produce more cellular energy known as ATP. This increase in cellular energy normalizes cellular function and speeds healing by approximately 75%. This has both anti-inflammatory and immune supportive effects. The length of treatment with low-level laser therapy depends on the severity of the injury or condition.

Low-level light therapy {LLLT} is a safe non-invasive alternative to prescriptions or over-the-counter medications that often have significant toxicity and adverse side effects.
